Regulation Steering Committee: Report to CMC-Ontario Members

March 12, 2012

Based on a consultation with members and recent survey results, CMC-ON Council has approved the Regulation Steering Committee to proceed to Phase 3 of examining the regulatory status of ICMCO and recommending, if necessary, appropriate changes. This will entail the preparation of a RFP and the selection of a qualified consult to assist the Committee in drafting appropriate revisions to the by-laws and regulations of ICMCO. A budget has been approved and the RFP has been issued.

CMC-Canada Announces Agreement with the Digital Technology Adoption Pilot Program (DTAPP)

As part of the Government of Canada’s Digital Economic Strategy, the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) Industrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP) is delivering the Digital Technology Adoption Pilot Program (DTAPP).  The Canadian Association of Management Consultants (CMC-Canada) has been selected to collaborate with NRC-IRAP to help provide SMEs access to expertise and advisory services. Full Release.

They are pleased to announce the launch of the refresh, which will provide a more effective way to communicate with and support you. Ministry of Government Services: Supply Chain Management Division

The CMC-Ontario Council, and its Advocacy Committee (OAC), was invited by the Assistant Deputy Minister, Supply Chain Management Division of the Ministry of Government Services, to meet with them to provide input to their current 2015 strategic planning process. The OAC focused on a limited number of points -- and were mindful of the kind of exceptional financial constraints we expect the Ministry to be subject to. For more information on this activity on your behalf, or for the full text of the submission, contact the OAC Chair Richard Kitney at kitney@sympatico.ca.
