CMC-Canada members can view and apply for job postings and RFPs from the public and private sector in our members-only Online Job Bank. You may post employment opportunities within your own firm. You have direct access to MERX Canadian Public Tenders which offers consulting opportunities from all levels of government across Canada -- an easy, fast, and efficient prospecting tool to help your business grow. Free to CMC-Canada members; a webinar designed to help you optimize your search for tenders, including tips and tricks on getting the most out of MERX.
As a CMC-Canada member, you have the option of publicly promoting your business through the cmc-canada.ca Member Directory. By listing your name and business, potential clients -- who search our database daily -- gain access to and learn more about your services. Many CMC-Canada members use the Directory to search for other members to collaborate on projects -- showing the high level of commitment and trust they have in each other.
Participate in the Management Advisory Service (MAS)
Once you earn your CMC designation, consider participating in the MAS program administered by CMC-Canada in strategic collaboration with the National Research Council-Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC-IRAP). Qualified CMCs are recommended to assist small and medium-sized businesses that need management consulting advice. This program is nation-wide and financially supported through NRC-IRAP.

Our Canadian Management Consulting Industry Study tracks trends and identifies the opportunities in the Canadian management consulting market. In short, it is a comprehensive analysis of the management consulting profession in Canada. Participating members receive a complimentary copy of the Summary Report free - a $300 value.
This publication sets out the fundamental standards of the profession in Canada. Truly professional management consultants share a common essential base of knowledge and skills, consistent definitions of common consulting terminology, and a common professional approach to and process for all clients. New members automatically receive a copy -- a $200 value.

The Association's weekly electronic newsletter distributed to all members. cNotes delivers industry news, articles, event listings, job postings, and Association announcements.

Special Interest Groups (SIGs)

Your local Institute is where much of the real action takes place. Membership brings you into that fold and affords you many opportunities to participate in social and networking events as you and your peers work together to make your Institute a vital and important resource as you combine your collective wisdom and experience. Recent events across the country have included: a behind-the-scenes tour of the new Winnipeg Airport, informal breakfasts in St. John’s and Halifax, Lean Management 101, and an informal pub night in Victoria. The range of events that benefit management consultants is only limited by your imagination.

To become a member, apply online through one of the links below, or complete the appropriate Application Form for the region in which you live. Applications must be submitted with the prescribed fee. Membership fees are based on a calendar year and are prorated depending on the month you join. Check the Fee Schedule to determine the amount you will be required to submit with your application. Fees may also be paid online.
