CMC-Canada Announces Agreement with the Digital Technology Adoption Pilot Program (DTAPP)

As part of the Government of Canada’s Digital Economic Strategy, the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) Industrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP) is delivering the Digital Technology Adoption Pilot Program (DTAPP).  The Canadian Association of Management Consultants (CMC-Canada) has been selected to collaborate with NRC-IRAP to help provide SMEs access to expertise and advisory services. Full Release.

The CMC-Ontario Council, and its Advocacy Committee (OAC), was invited by the Assistant Deputy Minister, Supply Chain Management Division of the Ministry of Government Services, to meet with them earlier this week to provide input to their current 2015 strategic planning process. The OAC has a legacy of many submissions over the years, including those on the Government’s Vendor of Record Modernization efforts,  and in response to its white-papers. This time we focused on a limited number of points -- and were mindful of the kind of exceptional financial constraints we expect the Ministry to be subject to. For more information on this activity on your behalf, or for the full text of the submission, contact the OAC Chair Richard Kitney at kitney@sympatico.ca.

Open RFP for Management Consulting Services Vendor of Record Arrangement

MERX reference number - 237144

The Open RFP allows new entrants to qualify for the MCS VOR that went into effect last September, and for approved vendors to add new Roles to those they already have qualified for. The closing date is March 1, 2012, and as it takes time to prepare project profiles and have them reviewed by clients, not to mention all the other elements of the proposal, don’t dawdle if you are planning to respond!
